Offering “Help at Home” is my passion, for those who need a helping hand to age-in-place – to stay comfortable and content in their home as long as possible, just as I did for my own parents.

In-home support includes household chores, errands, friendly visits, caregiver relief, recording childhood memories, etc.

Whatever you need help with… if it’s important to you, it’s important to me. Family visits that were once busy with lists of chores, could now be spent creating new memories!

Some ideas: •Tidy forgotten corners •Closets and dressers •Regular or super-cleaning •Meal prep •Fridge clean out • Re-organize Kitchen cupboards for easier access •Laundry •Freshen flower beds •Windows •Create a Memory book, photo album, or help with a hobby

I started Dorothy’s Daughter at the beginning of 2020. I saw how my mom struggled with Alzheimer’s for years. Then, having cared for my dad in my home, I know first-hand the challenges life brings to my elders, and how the simplest things can become much more difficult to do. I also know that their deepest desire was just to stay living in their home.

Helping to make our elders’ world a little bit brighter and their load a little bit lighter.
This is my heart song. Because I’m Dorothy’s Daughter.
